BREAST REDUCTION SURGERY

BREAST REDUCTION - SURGERY
Bigger then normal breasts are an aesthetic problem for women and men also people with large chest areas such as low back pain or humpback problems occur. Back pain also occurs because the body is exposed to more load than it can carry. In such cases, breast reduction operation is performed. After approximately 3 to 5 hours of surgery, the person must stay in the hospital for 1 night. The patients who are discharged the next day will be able to resume their lives after an average of 1 month.
As well as health problems caused by large breasts, breast reduction is performed with aesthetic concerns. Health problems, such as rashes under the chest and excessive sweating due to conditions such as infection may be given. This type of discomfort is rarely seen postoperatively. The reason for breasts being much larger than normal may be due to excess weight or hormone disorder. In such cases, the operation may be considered after weight loss under the control of a physician. Patients over the age of 35 are required to undergo mammography and general anesthesia is applied during surgery. Patients should not take blood thinners before the operation.
